Valtiberina toscana - Parish Church of Santo Stefano
Known as the "City of the Diary," Pieve Santo Stefano is home to the Piccolo Museo del Diario, a unique institution that collects over 10,000 diaries, letters, and autobiographical memoirs of ordinary people. Founded in 1984 by journalist Saverio Tutino, the museum offers an emotional journey through the personal stories that make up Italy's collective memory. Despite the destruction suffered during the Second World War, Pieve Santo Stefano preserves important historical and spiritual testimonies. Among these, the Collegiate Church of Santo Stefano , rebuilt in neoclassical style in the 19th century, and the Sanctuary of the Madonna dei Lumi , built between 1590 and 1625, which houses frescoes by Luigi Ademollo and works by artists such as Francesco Curradi and Agostino Ciampelli.
