KINDERGARTEN AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CLASS I
THE GREEN WIZARD LAKE (guided tour/workshop)
Girls and boys are the protagonists of the story of the wizard of Ridracoli.
In his laboratory, using the IBSE methodology, they experience the unique characteristics and properties of water, including through water games and water magic. The day ends with a visit to the Ridracoli dam, where they can admire the majesty of this man-made structure, the lake, and the woods of the Bidente valley.

BRICIOLA AND HIS FRIENDS (guided tour)
The story of the little fox Briciola leads children on a discovery of the Idro salt flats and the park's trails around the dam. Through dramatization, the young protagonists take on the roles of forest dwellers to learn about their habits, discover what they eat, and what tracks they leave. To commemorate this experience, they create casts of their footprints.

WALKING WITH THE WOLVES (guided tour/workshop)
A creative and playful journey that allows you to better understand the predator par excellence, too often hidden in fairy tales and legends.
Let's find out what our Grey Wolf looks like, how he hunts, and how he lives in packs by creating a personalized booklet of our hero.

TREES LIKE US
A completely outdoor activity along the path that runs along the dam lake. Children will discover trees through small sensory activities and understand how similar they are to us. Exploring the natural environment will become a unique sensory trail. Together, we'll create a small souvenir of the forest to take home with us and to remind us of our tree friends.

PRIMARY SCHOOL CLASSES II, III, IV, V
WATER AND THE DAM (guided tour/workshop)
A visit to the museum to learn about the path of the Ridracoli water, from its catchment area to its distribution throughout the region. A visit to the thematic centers and monitoring instruments on the dam's crest completes the program. The workshop, "Meteorologists for a Year ," completes the program: using everyday materials and in small groups, students will create atmospheric measuring instruments that the class can use throughout the school year.

WATER AND LIFE (guided tour/workshop)
The new film explores the origins of water, the emergence and development of life, and the adaptations of organisms. Through hands-on experiences and interactive games, we discover that the water molecule possesses fundamental characteristics for the life and evolution of animals and plants.
We continue to the dam for a walk around the thematic centers and monitoring instruments on the crest. Finally, a workshop, "The Stream's Inhabitants ," will analyze the watercourse and its characteristics, including capturing and observing macroinvertebrates that are indicators of water quality.

YOU ARE THE GUIDES flipped classroom (excursion/workshop)
Flipped-classroom experiment
The Water and the Dam tour is led directly by the students, providing them with useful information and study materials to prepare for the trip. During the tour, the class is divided into small groups that discuss the topics covered in class. The day ends with a visit to the tunnels or the water purification plant.

LANDSCAPES AND PEOPLE   (excursion/workshop)
