An open-air 19th-century industrial museum, featuring tunnels, towers, and a reminder of Tuscany's work. Just minutes from the medieval village of Montecatini Val di Cecina , the Mining Park is one of Italy's most evocative industrial archaeology sites. Once one of Europe's most important copper mines, it is now an open-air museum that chronicles the lives of miners and the birth of modern Italian industry.
