Observing reality through color, light and shadow
The main object of practice is the observation of reality through the influence of light and shadow on color in a colorful and transparent arrangement of a “liquid” technique in which the color moves almost autonomously on the sheet through the water.
It will be fascinating to manage it rather than control it, often being surprised and excited by the results!
Workshop of 9 practical-theoretical meetings on a monthly basis .
Watercolor technique: lightness, transparency and luminosity
“ Watercolor is a way of painting that is attractive for its “lightness” in the tools, in the transparency and luminosity of the color, in the paper support, in the absence of strong odors and persistent stains.
At the same time, those who try it for the first time may find themselves with disappointing results: messes, stains, "dirty" colors, as if it were uncontrollable.
In these first spring workshops I will guide you through the history of this technique and then through the knowledge of the tools and its qualities, its "secrets" so that you can understand how to best use them to obtain satisfying results!
