A circular e-bike route of approximately 32 km in the Alta Tuscia region, on the border between Lazio and Tuscany, combining rural landscapes, historic roads, and monumental heritage. The route follows dirt roads, dirt tracks, and secondary roads, crossing cultivated hills, open valleys, and more natural stretches, in an ideal setting for slow cycling. The tour begins in the medieval village of Proceno, historically linked to the Via Francigena, where you can visit the historic center with the fortress, the Palazzo Sforza, and the main churches. Leaving the village, the route follows the landscape of the Via Francigena, immersing itself in the countryside among vineyards, olive groves, and sweeping views of the Paglia Valley. The Sforzesca Valley represents the scenic heart of the route, with long, open and quiet stretches, while the Forche area introduces a more natural and secluded environment, with dirt roads immersed in greenery. The return to Proceno completes the loop, offering picturesque views of the hilltop village. An accessible route thanks to the use of e-bikes, ideal for guided excursions, sustainable tourism, and initiatives related to the enhancement of the territory.
