Founded in 1989 and based in Selargius, near Cagliari, Agorà Sardegna is a social cooperative specialising in the management and promotion of cultural heritage across Sardinia. With more than thirty years of experience, it is now a well-established organisation in the island’s cultural sector.

The cooperative provides professional library, archive and museum services, working with public authorities and private organisations to improve access to culture and encourage engagement with local heritage. Its activities include managing libraries and historical archives, organising exhibitions and developing educational and training programmes.

Through a participatory and sustainable approach, Agorà Sardegna strengthens the connection between culture, the local economy and the region, supporting local communities and the professional development of its staff. The cooperative also stands out for its commitment to gender equality and social inclusion.
