Archaeology, conservation and cultural heritage

Founded in Reggio Emilia in 1986, AR/S Archeosistemi is a cooperative specialising in the protection and promotion of cultural heritage. Combining an interdisciplinary approach with strong local roots, it works across archaeology, conservation, museum installations and the management of cultural services.

The cooperative works with public and private organisations to develop innovative and sustainable cultural projects. Its most significant work includes the Thermopolium in Pompeii, the Roman Theatre in Teramo and Modena’s Ghirlandina Tower.

With a team of more than 170 professionals, including archaeologists, conservators and art historians, Archeosistemi is also active in public engagement and education. It organises exhibitions, workshops and learning activities to improve access to culture and encourage a deeper understanding of cultural heritage.

By combining tradition and innovation, AR/S Archeosistemi brings cultural heritage to life through accessible and participatory experiences, helping to preserve and promote the history and identity of the places where it works.
