Education, sustainable tourism and visitor attractions in Emilia-Romagna

Founded in 1990 and based in Cervia, Atlantide is a social cooperative that connects people with the environment, culture and local places. With sustainability at the heart of its work, it develops educational programmes, environmental projects and travel experiences centred on nature and active participation.

Atlantide manages AmaParco, a network of more than 20 visitor attractions across Emilia-Romagna, including nature reserves, museums and visitor centres. These places offer opportunities for discovery, play and learning for families, schools and curious travellers. Alongside its work at the parks, Atlantide develops projects with schools, businesses and public authorities, addressing sustainability, biodiversity and active citizenship in line with the goals of the 2030 Agenda.

Through GirAtlantide, its educational travel agency, the cooperative offers ecotourism and school travel itineraries, with learning experiences that encourage people to explore in a responsible and respectful way.

With a team of educators, communications specialists and local experts, Atlantide turns environmental awareness into practical action, helping to make sustainability an accessible, engaging and achievable choice for everyone.
