Founded in 2001, Nuova Atlantide is a social cooperative specialising in environmental heritage and experiential tourism. Its team includes professionals with extensive expertise in environmental and local development. The cooperative operates within the Gallipoli Cognato and Piccole Dolomiti Lucane Regional Natural Park in Basilicata.

Nuova Atlantide designs and delivers activities combining environmental education, sustainable tourism and outdoor sports, offering engaging experiences in close contact with nature. Its activities include educational workshops, hiking and mountain biking, orienteering, birdwatching, archery and adventure trails, all set within a remarkable natural landscape.

The cooperative works with schools, public authorities and tourism operators to raise awareness of the local area and encourage environmentally responsible ways of exploring it, in line with the principles of sustainability education and active citizenship.
