Semata Soc. Cooperativa

Culture, education and heritage in Sardinia
Active since 2011 and based in Cagliari and Dolianova, the Sémata Social Cooperative promotes Sardinia’s cultural heritage through educational projects, cultural experiences and inclusive initiatives. With 15 years of hands-on experience, Sémata is now a well-established organisation in the management and interpretation of Sardinia’s cultural heritage.
The cooperative manages museums, archives and archaeological sites, including the Santadi Archaeological Area, and develops educational programmes and workshops for children, young people and schools. Each activity is designed to promote the local area and encourage active participation in culture by bringing together archaeology, the environment, history and anthropology.
Through an innovative and inclusive approach, Sémata creates tailored projects for public authorities, schools and businesses, helping to strengthen local tourism and cultural services. The cooperative’s daily work supports community development, with particular attention to education and the involvement of younger generations.
With a strong network of local partnerships and a clear social commitment, Sémata continues to create meaningful and accessible cultural experiences centred on knowledge, identity and participation.
